Washington CAN!, Rachael DeCruz Rachael DeCruz is the Communications Director at Washington Community Action Network. In this role, she communicates with Washington CAN’s membership on a regular basis, manages the website and social media content and coordinates all of Washington CAN’s press work. Rachael is the project lead on Washington CAN’s annual Facing Race report and is responsible for writing and compiling the report, in addition to leading the coalition of organizations involved in the report. She also sits on the Executive Committee of the Seattle-King County NAACP and played a large role in coordinating and planning the first annual Health and Education Fair and Fun Run that the NAACP held in August. With over 40,000 members, Washington CAN! is the state’s largest grassroots community organization. Together we work to achieve racial, social, and economic justice in our state and nation. Our strength as an organization depends on our members’ involvement. We believe that we can only achieve our goals when people take action for justice.
